Unfortunately this one doesn’t live up to its poster. For some reason this poster has always really grabbed my imagination. It’s so weird, so intriguing. So cool. The movie’s kinda weird, kinda intriguing. Not terribly cool imo.

There’s a lot of screaming. A lot of screaming. People screaming for what feels like 10 minutes straight while there’s also a hurricane going on. Things kick off fast too. For a while there’s no screaming, and then a tree tries to eat a kid and the characters are screaming for at least 1/3 of the remaining runtime.

I don’t know. It’s ok. I think if you want to watch a movie that captures the vibe of _Poltergeist_s poster more, watch Skinamarink (Ball, 2022).
